Central AC distributes cooled air through ducts to every room. A ductless mini-split delivers air directly to one or more zones without ductwork, making it ideal for home additions, garages, or homes without existing ducts. Mini-splits offer zone control and can be more efficient, but central systems are usually better for whole-home cooling in Miami-Dade.
